SHAFT Blues&Jazz Club

Dün fotoÄŸraf arÅŸivimi karıştırıyordum. Amacım kursa giderken ilk çektiÄŸim  fotoÄŸraflarla yakın tarihteki fotoÄŸraflar arasındaki farka bakmak,  geliÅŸimim konusunda bir fikre sahip olmaktı.  Bu fotoÄŸraflar arasında kurs zamanı gece çekimi yapmak için gittiÄŸimiz SHAFT – blues ve jazz bar – fotoÄŸraflarını buldum. Tamamen unutmuÅŸum. Kendime ÅŸaşırmakla birlikte arÅŸive atıp daha sonra bakarım dediÄŸim baÅŸka fotoÄŸraflara da rastladım. Zamanla onlara da el atıp bloguma yazarak kendi gözümün önünde olmalarını saÄŸlamayı planlıyorum. ( yazının ilerleyen satırlarında neden unuttuÄŸumu anlayacaksınız )

Cuma akşamıydı ve tüm aradaşlar ben de dahil işten yogun argın halde çıkıp bir de köprü trafiğinde epeyce takılıp Kadıköy Altıyol tarafına geçtik. Eşimi de benimle gelmesi için ikna etmeyi başarmıştım. Yeme, içme faslından sonra tüm ekip tamamlandıktan sonra önce mekan önünde bir kaç fotoğraf çektikten sonra içeri girdik.

Çok az ışıklandırma ile içerisi oldukça karanlık sayılabilirdi. Önce mekanı dolaşıp şöyle bir etrafa baktıktan sonra fotoğraf çekmeye başladık. Renkli çekmeye başladığım fotoğrafları daha sonra siyah-beyaz çekmeye başladım.

Çünkü o akÅŸam sahne alacak grup  prova yapmaya baÅŸlamıştı. Hemen fotoÄŸraf makinemizi sahneye doÄŸru yönelttik. Onları çektiÄŸim fotoÄŸrafları renk açısından beÄŸenmeyince ( Bakınız aÅŸağıdaki fotoÄŸraf , çektiÄŸim tüm fotoÄŸraflar nedense bu ÅŸekilde sonuçlandı )  Sahnenin bize çok yakın olması ve  spot ışıklarını hesaba katmadan çekim yapmak bu gördüğünüz sonucu vermiÅŸ olabileceÄŸini ÅŸimdi farkediyorum . Tabiki ps de ayarlanabilir. Ancak açıkçası ben ps de ayarlama yapmak istemiyorum. Çok sıkıcı ve zamanımı gereksiz yere  çalıyormuÅŸ gibi  geliyor.  Ayrıca demedim deÄŸil.  FotoÄŸrafı doÄŸru ışık ayarlarıyla çekmediÄŸinizde ps’de doÄŸru sonuç alınamıyor. Hatta daha da kötü oluyor. Ben makinayı doÄŸru ayarlayabilmeyi dolayısıyle de  doÄŸru sonuca ulaÅŸabilmeyi istiyorum.

Açıkçası siyah-beyaz çekerek belkide işin kolayına kaçtım. ( Şimdi olsa belki farklı davranırdım. En azından tripod kullanırdım. Farklı ayarlar denerdim )

Çok fazla geniş olmayan mekanda birbirimizin önüne geçmemek için çaba harcarken makineyi titretmemek için de  azami özen göstermek gerekiyordu. O zamanlar Tripod kullanmayı henüz alışkanlık haline getirmediğim için , onu çantamdan çıkarmayı bile denemedim.:)

Çok yüksek ISO ayarında ( 2000)  ve flash sız çekim yapıyorduk.  Fotoğraflar oldukça granli olurken , çok keskin ve net olamadılar. Biraz heyecan,  biraz da ışığın yetersiz olması tabiki en önemlisi deneyimimin  olmaması nedeniyle makinanın ayarlarını düzgün yapamadım.  Şimdi bunları çok  normal karşılıyorum.  Ancak o zaman çok üzülmüştüm belki de o nedenle arşivin bir köşesinde unuttum gitti fotoğrafaları.  İçlerinden netlikleri en iyi diyebileceklerimi görüyorsunuz. Diğer çektiklerime göre yani. En azında kadrajları fotoğrafları kurtarıyor:) (biraz züğürt tesellisi oldu...)

Kıssadan hisse: Kötü çekilmiş diye hiç bir fotoğrafımıza kötü davranmamalı onu da layık olduğu ilgi ve alakayı göstermeliyiz. Çünkü o bize neleri öğrenmemiz gerektiğini ve ne aşamada olduğumuzu dürüst bir şekilde göstermektedir. Her yeni gün hayalinizdeki fotoğraflara doğru yaklaşmanız dileği ile  sevgi ve saygılar.

SHAFT Blues&Jazz Club

I was checking my archives yesterday. My aim was to have an idea and see the improvement between the photos that I took in the beginning of my photography course and the photos I have taken recently. Then I found the ones of the time we went to SHAFT Blues&Jazz Club to take photos at night. I was surprised – I had totally forgotten them! I also found some of them that I took and put in that archive so that I could have a look at them later in time. I plan to put them in my blog in  the future ( you will understand why I forgot them when you read further).

It was a Friday night, and my friends and I eventually managed to get Kadikoy Altıyol side after a tiring working day and a long traffic jam. And I also managed to bring my husband with me. After the dinner and all our friends joined us, we got inside after taking some photos in front of the club. The lighting was low; it was nearly dark inside. First we had a look inside then we began taking photos. I took black and  white ones after taking some in color, because the group which was performing was already rehearsing on the stage.

Then all of us pointed the cameras to the stage. When I checked them I didn’t like the colour in the photo ( have a look at that one below, all the photos that I took look the same), and now I realise it was because of the  ligthing and that the stage was so close to us. Of course the PS can be arranged. To be honest I don’t want to set the PS. It is boring and it feels like a waste of time. When you dont take the photos with the right ligthing then the result with PS is also not right. Actually it gets much worse. I want to adjust the machine right and also get a good, satisfying result.

To be honest it was easier to take black and white ones (if I was there now I would use a different adjustment, or at least a tripod, or different ones)

Because it was a not a big place we didnt have enough space and so we were really trying to be careful not to stand in front of the other photographers and while trying to do that I was also trying to be careful not to let the camera move while I was taking photos. At this time because it wasn’t my habit to use the tripod I didn’t even take it out of my bag

We took them with very high ISO (2000) and without flash. That’s why they are not clear and sharp enough.  Partly because of excitement, partly because of the lack of light, I couldn’t make the right adjustment for the camera. I find it normal right now. But i was kind of sad at the time, probably that’s why i forgot these photos in the archive. You see the ones which are relatively better. At least the frame makes them look better

To conclude, because you think the photos you take don’t look good, you shouldn’t put them away and you should give them enough  attention,because they show us what is missing and how we should do to take better ones. I wish that you will get closer to dream photos every day.
